ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Margaret Slocomb earned a Ph.D. in history from the University of Queensland. As an education specialist, she spent most of her professional career in several countries in East and Southeast Asia, particularly Cambodia. Now retired, she continues to research and write as an independent scholar.
